MetalWERK

Because I am using scraps of leftover metal from other people’s larger projects, I never know what I am making until I have the foraged pieces in front of me. I always come into the shop with an open mind, an open eye, and an open heart.

Sometimes, I change my mind two or three times during the process, or sometimes the metal doesn’t cooperate the way I want it to, so I have to change it and improvise.

I am beginning to like this aspect of metalwork, the ability to walk in not knowing what you’re gonna do, then walking out with a “masterpiece”.
